Melbourne January 19th 2012 – Gamma Solutions a leading supplier of advanced data capture systems is adding the Motorola AP7131 to its range of wireless network equipment.
The Motorola AP7131 is the industry’s first 802.11a/b/g/n adaptive services access point that delivers the performance, coverage, reliability and security required to enable the truly wireless enterprise.
The tri-radio expandable design provides simultaneous support for three major networking functions; high speed wireless data, voice and video services for client access, self healing mesh networking and Wireless Intrusion Prevention System sensor functionality for around the clock protection for the network.
“The Adaptive Services AP architecture allows the access point to be used for two difference modes of operation” says Graham Denny, account manager for Gamma Solutions, “It can be used as either a stand alone AP or as a wireless controller adopted AP for centralised management of the network”.
As a stand alone AP the AP7131 provides small to medium businesses with a consolidated wired and wireless networking infrastructure, all in a single device.
