Melbourne May 23rd, 2011 – Gamma Solutions are proud to announce the launch of the LXE Tecton™ rugged handheld computer, targeting supply chain applications. The LXE Tecton is a relaunch of LXE’s highly successful MX7 handheld.
The LXE Tecton is purpose built for warehouse applications and as such LXE have not compromised the ergonomics or processing power of the device. It is IP-65 rated and has a drop spec of 1.5m onto concrete or 1.8m with a protective boot which makes it rugged enough for our customer’s needs” says Gamma Solutions Account Manager Graham Denny.
The LXE Tecton handheld has many features which end users find very useful such as the scan vibration which allows the user to know if a scan has been successful in a noisy environment. Available in a cold storage configuration the LXE Tecton is built with an internal thermostat control for the display as well as scan window defrosters and can be operated in temperatures as low as -30°.
“The LXE Tecton is the latest in an extensive range of rugged mobile computers which LXE have brought to the market and Gamma Solutions is proud to be able to offer full selection to our customers.” continued Graham Denny.
